Welcome to Henneberg Art (accessible via www.henneberg.ie). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of any products from our online store. By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Please read them carefully before completing a purchase.

1. General Info & About Us

This website is owned and operated by Martin Ro Laursen trading as Henneberg Art.

  • Business Address: 60 Rose Hill, Wicklow, A67 C439, Ireland.

  • Contact Email: henneberg.art@gmail.com

  • Contact/Socials: Accessible through our official forms and verified social media channels listed on this site.

2. Contract Formation & Orders

  • Ordering: When you place an order via our online checkout process, you are making an offer to purchase the goods.

  • Acceptance: A contract between us is only formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation email or ship the artwork to you. We reserve the right to decline any order for any reason (e.g., pricing errors, stock unavailability).

  • Prices & Payment: All prices are displayed in Euros (€). Prices include relevant taxes where applicable but exclude shipping charges, which are calculated and displayed at checkout. Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering.

3. Shipping and Delivery

  • We deliver to the regions specified during the checkout process.

  • Estimated delivery timeframes are provided for guidance only and are not strict guarantees. If an item is delayed due to circumstances outside our control, we will notify you as soon as possible.

  • International Orders: If ordering from outside Ireland or the EU, you are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes levied by your country's customs authority.

4. Right of Withdrawal & Returns (EU 14-Day Cooling-off Period)

Under EU Consumer Law, if you are a consumer residing within the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

  • The Period: The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you (or a third party indicated by you) take physical possession of the goods.

  • Notification: To exercise this right, you must inform us via a clear, written statement sent to our email address before the 14-day window closes.

  • Exclusions (Important for Art Stores): Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to items made to your custom specifications or clearly personalized (e.g., custom commissioned artwork, specific custom framing adjustments requested by you).

5. Refunds and Return Shipping

  • Return Shipping Cost: Unless the item arrived damaged or faulty, you (the customer) must bear the direct cost of shipping the goods back to us.

  • Condition of Goods: You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics. Items should ideally be returned in their original packaging to protect the artwork.

  • The Refund: Once we receive the returned item (or proof that you have sent it back), we will refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs. We will process the refund using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice/returned item.

6. Damaged or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged in transit or is fundamentally faulty, please contact us immediately at [Insert Email] with photographic evidence of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund, covering any return postal costs incurred.

Purchasing a piece of art does not transfer any reproduction or commercial usage rights to the buyer.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms, your use of the website, and any purchase contracts are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
